What amp are you installing anyway, a lot of them have turn on sense with the high level inputs. the cheap boss amp she has doesnt have high level inputs i ran a LOC converter through the door pannels and did the rcas that way. inferno1985 Posted October 9, 2013 Report Share Posted October 9, 2013 get a pac in line converter if thats what they are called?. i got one for my brother he had a monsoon system in his jetta and wanted to keep his factory headunit and amp all i did was tap into one of the rear speaker signals and used it as a signal and ran a remote that way no tearing apart anything cept for the wires themselves.easy install took 20 mins Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
