I got the box built and would like some input from some of the veterans here, do I need to 45 the ports? Do I start losing volume when I brace? I can push in on the front of the box, and it flexes, this can't be good right? Round dowels? Should I sand the inside edges of the port? Just trying to get this right before I get it in and I have to pull it back out because of whistle or flex.. Any suggestions would be appreciated..

OK, got the box in, all hooked up, sounds decent, need help tuning, what should my settings be on my pioneer, same one Steve uses for amp test Tuesdays, a kicker 300.1 zx, low pass filter switched to off at first then noticed some improvement when I switched to low, bass boost off, gain about half or little under, pioneer is set to 63hz on subwoofer control, it's hitting pretty good, rattles like hell but gotta work on that but just seeing if I could optimize my tuning. This amp has no HZ settings, just crossover switch, bass boost, gain, low or high input and 12v remote switch.
