RCP Audio
Im getting fibre installed at my place in a couple of weeks, with a download of 100mbps and upload of 50 Is there a special wireless adapter i should get to make the most of it? http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=NETAS1060&name=ASUS-PCE-N15-300Mbps-Wireless-PCI-Express-802.11-b Thats what i currently have, it could be all right. I have no idea Im hoping to run some cat5e into the PC room at some point, but I would like to make the most of the wifi in the mean time PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k. 1991 Mazda 323VERY small build thread here: http://www.stevemead...23-small-build/

truthsayer
while wireless (wifi) is convenient. A direct connection is always faster. Only use wireless on accessories, such as printer- scanner etc. Just to save with all the cords. truthsayer
RCP Audio
Yeah I know. But until I run cat from one side and downstairs of the house. to the opposite side upstairs, I don't really have a option except to use wireless PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. truthsayer
well if you can afford the wireless modem, then you can def afford the cat5e cables to wire direct. Got my 25's for like $8 or $9 bucks at Amazon. here i give you a link to one. http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-Networking-Cat5e-Patch-Cable/dp/B001W28L2Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381986145&sr=8-2&keywords=ethernet+cable Here is another link for a 50' for $10.http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-Networking-Cat5e-Patch-Cable/dp/B001W26TIW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1381986351&sr=8-3&keywords=ethernet+cable truthsayer
RCP Audio
Im not gonna just lay it up the stairs though, its going to be put into the walls. I measured it out to be 58m of cable needed incl a couple at each end out of the wall plus getting someone to run it for me cause I havent got the skill or tools to do that. So im easily more out of pocket then getting a wireless adapter if I need a new one... 60$ for a 100m roll plus a few hours at 30$+ a hour Im really just asking for options regarding A WIRELESS ADAPTER NOT HARDWIRED PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. truthsayer
I see, do you have a computer outlet near you? If so see what they have and recommend. I mean theirs so damn many out there now a days. I think the one I have is Netgear. But amazon has some Medialink on sale for like $50, their usually over $100. Heard good things about them. truthsayer
