Vic Damone Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 So recently I've been having radio issues ,when I crank it on about 27 and over its keeps shutting off and on repeatedly not some turn off and few seconds later it'll turn on, its like someone playing with a light switch I have a multi meter but don't know what numbers I should be looking for.a audio place was charging me 85$ am hour for a diagnostic and I don't know if I have bad wiring or bad radio.it is a used jvc radio

robby512 Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Same issue on a buddy's headunit whoever installed the hu before did a dumbass job and half of it wasn't hooked and he spliced factory harness. I ended up redoing the wiring and making a new ground instead of factory it seems to be better but when he really cranks it seems like it still does I assumed bad hu but a new ground did help a lot.
