MACnonsence6 Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 hopefully ill be doing a 150 on a 2 12" destroyers and a ct sounds 4k @ .5 in the summer ill post scores when everythings all done still in the works atm I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Did 150.7 and mid to high 140's on music. I hope to see 150s soon. Just took out my XFLs out which were on a CT 1400 at 1ohm.. I actually have the same box but bigger. 5 cubes with an external 8.5" aero tuned to 32hz. Once I get these Mesos in im expecting a huge difference from the drop in. The XFLs got smelly playing below 28hz for some reason.. But when I installed some SA SPL 12s (temporary set up) on a CT 1400 @ .5.. I was completely shocked in how much better it sounded and louder.. To the ear and body it sounded close to a 50.. I'll just say 45+ guaranteed to not get too hopeful.
