Roosta7 Posted October 24, 2013 Report Share Posted October 24, 2013 I am building a SQ setup and ran into many issues with my substage. the setup is super basic and my goal is daily sq. the amp is the Alpine mrx-f65 and it is running in 3ch mode. the rear channel bridged does around 320wrms, so that is my headroom to work with. the sub i plan to use is the dayton ho 10" due to its low qts and have heard great things about it. the problem now comes to the box and here is where i need help. my goals are punchy kick drum bass, ability to get low low, and moderate output that sounds good. again, this is a daily sq build not for any competing or showing off. can anybody help me with designing a box or giving some opinions on tuning and how to tune around 25-28hz with a small box? im sticking with around .5-.6 cu.ft. thank you all. also, if yall have any sub recommendations, that would be nice!
