Mustang06331 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Share Posted November 7, 2013 As an avid drag racer I can tell you that there is not one car in the winner circle w/o a NGK R PLUG IN IT !!! , don't gap them don't index them and the only good reading you get is the first pass . Pull over and burn the shit out of yourself to remove them and use a scope like you would see a Dr. Look in your ear with. Plenty of good sites can teach you how to read but one of the best is speedomotive site . If the gap is not close out of the box get another plug. By bending the ground strap your risk having it break off in your cylinder . Plenty of other ways to correct a gaping sort of prob then to change the gap . Sounds crazy but it's true.
