g2shuck Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 To wire 8 DVC 4 ohm subs to a mono amp at 1 ohm you would wire 4 down to 2 ohms, other 4 to 2 ohms, then those to a 1 ohm final load correct? Here is a terrible drawing I made to show what I mean. 2000 Toyota Camry With Sealed Off Trunk Sky High OFC Wiring DC Power 270 XP Alt AQ 2200 Sub Amp Two DC Level 4 m2 12s 80 Mil Murdetmat Gathering Parts For Wall Build. gmsierra2000 Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 if you have a volt meter you can check your ohms after wiring them all up the way you want and the two wires going to the final amp terminals you can meter them and it will tell you exactly what ohms you are putting towards your amp
bkolfo4 Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 If you use the DCR and you have good connections. Should see 0.7-0.8 with a volt meter.
