I haven't been on here for a while but Nightshade said that the d3100s will fit in the spare tire well. I didn't even try because it didn't look like they would fit! A new larger box is going to be in the works.

Yeah saw that he said that, the spare tire well only looks like it's 5-6" deep. You should try it though and let me know how it works out, would be great news for me.

What was your score and freq by the way?

The car was having an off night, but it did a 151.8 @ 51 in USACI

IASCA it did a 148.6 sealed on the dash @51

I don't remember the bass boxing numbers, or the average it was a long long night...

The box is tuned to 35hz

I would think that 38hz would have a pretty negative effect on the daily playing. I would have to ask him. The setup is very musical as it sits I would hate to ruin that chasing a number under the dash or at the windshield. I know I don't listen to my setup like that lol

If not chasing numbers stick with what you have our maybe a lower tuning. Was just pointing o2 that a 38 hz tune cold be Bette on the meter.

I wonder if I could tune it up a few HZ and use a plug in the port for daily driving. That would be perfect.

If the d3100s fir well in the spare tire well I think I am going to go to 2 3.5Ks strapped as that would be the max I could run in Usaci for the class.
