Psykotyk Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 I'm installing a soundstream tx4.440 and 4 6.5"components; one for each door..im running a new set of 14 guage speaker wire from the amp to all crossovers then to mids and tweets. but when i went to test a speaker no sound would come out... i have the two runs on rcas from my head unit, front and rear. do i have to do something with the ( wires speaker wires that are powering the stock runs on power to the speaker? im confused haha

truthsayer Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 Did you run the speaker wires from the amp to the speakers? If your not using the HU unit to power any speakers, make sure you tape the wires from head unit off. Sorry but your post is a little confusing or i'm just to tired to understand it correctly. Maybe repost the issue and try be detailed as possible. truthsayer
