Ritch40
i own a semi. every spring all of my aluminum gets sanded down. usually 280 grit 400 grit 600 grit 800 grit and then 1000 grit on a DA sander. then using a buffer with proper wheels and dry compounds i start the polishing process. Zephyr makes the wheels and compounds that i use. you will need some small bobbins and a good die grinder in your application. you will like the results if you take the time to do them this way!!
