mmets
When using a 3sixty.3 it can put up to 8 volts out to the amps. DC amps input is rated from 6v-0.2v. Will this be an issue when hooking these up or is there a setting on the 3sixty.3 that I need to change? Im sure there is someone that is using dc amps and the 3sixty but need to make sure I dont mess up my kids here. 3sixty will go through the initial set up then will set the amp gains with the DD-1 then will tune the 3sixty.3. mrd6
I am pretty sure it is variable UP TO 8v like you said. I can't imagine it would be hard set to output an 8v signal no matter what, wouldnt make any sense... skyhighcaraudio
we have had issues with this in the past believe it or not. we started using the 360.3 only for the mids and high...for this reason and because the bass knob for the sub amps on the 360.3 controller is not smooth it has sudden jumps in like 12 spots. i would suggest wiring around the rockford for your sub amps. mmets
If need be I can go straight from the HU to the sub amp. Currently have it going into the 3sixty but nothing is running right now anyways. Just hanging out in the trailblazer. Wont be doing the subs til tax time so have plenty of time to make changes. Did want to use the 3sixty for the whole system but win some loose some. Not a deal braker by any means. I'm sure I could get rid of it fast enough........or would hope so if it came down to that anyways. mmets
You can adjust the sensitivity down. Its in the set up ...... you can knock it down to somthing like half a volt This I assume would take care of the voltage threw the RCA's if I am correct. But with what skyhigh also said about the remote and jumping spots for the bass side of the remote will that calm that down also? I honestly don't think I will mess with the remote too much as I tend to set everything up and just leave it alone. I have used a remote before but really didn't turn the bass down and then turn it up at a certain point. Only had it in there because a buddy gave me one.
