Fi Bl 18

i want to try out my speaker box building skill. so what do i need to do or change to this to make a fi bl 18 fit?

The baffle looks to only be 17" tall. You can't fit an 18" sub there. How do you want this to sound? Spl, sql, or sq?

edit:

I don't mean total spl.

spl = loud as possible while still capable to play music.

sql = sound good but get loud doing it

thats pretty much a definition for SQL as well as your SQL definition.

also if he wanted he could put the 18 on the top as a baffle

Not for me. I consider having the capability to play music different than sounding really good playing music, but I do see where you're coming from.

my opinion of SPL is plain out fart box. I mean theres some that play music but sound horrible doing it, imo thats spl also so i guess we are on the same level there

I recommend 5ft of volume w/ 80" of port tuned to 40hz.
