gattiboy13
Having only 1" between back of box and sub bottom should be ok right? Will this cause heating?
gattiboy13
Anyone know about this?
jarrius
I personally would not be happy with that seems like it may restrict air movement from the sub and may be loss of out put. But I have been known to be wrong..... CleanSierra
It really depends on the sub specifically. Which sub do you have this question about? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
gattiboy13
Sundown x 10"
CleanSierra
That sub had one pole vent and 6 smaller holes to vent the gap. Id contact Sundown and ask them their opinion. I wouldn't feel comfortable personally, with only an inch of clearance between the back of the motor and a wall of an enclosure. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. gattiboy13
Well they at sundown designed me a box with a 2 inch space so I assume 1 will be ok. Thanks guys I always appreciate your input and advice.
CleanSierra
one inch is different than two. Go with the design Sundown gave you, don't modify it. Smh Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

truthsayer
If your worried about the 1'' and sundown said 2'' would be fine. Just throw on a 1'' spacer for the sub. Problem solved. truthsayer
