CleanSierra
^^^^CT Sounds are pretty affordable and that are rated at 12V instead if the typical 14.4V. 1 Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra
And OP, 100" of port is what I calculated with that tuning. I think Sundown recommends 75-85" if you go yo enclosure recommendations on their site. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. truthsayer
Either set up will be good, probably about equal output. But your not going to get the power you think you are from the audiopoop amp. Better amp option on a budget? Say in the $2-300 range? If you run two 12's, i found the audio technix. Get two of these, one for each sub.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audio-Technix-800-1-amp-amplifier-1-Ohm-Stable-Class-D-Free-4-gauge-wiring-kit-/151170828964?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item23327bcaa4 Quote truthsayer
truthsayer
Those amps are strappable, so even if you get the X, you can still run two of the audio technix and strapp them. Comes with amp wiring kit. Edited November 23, 2013 by truthsayer Quote truthsayer

I think Sundown recommends 75-85" if you go yo enclosure recommendations on their site. I might go with a CT sounds 1400.1 now that you mention them. Fits right in the budget. As far as port area goes I could go 14.5x7 for right at 101in^2 of port area

How much port area would be good on the 2 12's?
CleanSierra
At 34 Hz, 70" port is the minimum I get. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
BassCruze
Would a FI BL 15 be a better choice over the x15?
Daniel Harbeson
Would a FI BL 15 be a better choice over the x15? Your not allowed to do comparisons or vs between two different products. I also think the x-15 if you tune the box right and gave it enough power you'd be happy with it.
