bassman619
1500 watts for 2 sa 15s. 3.5 ft^ ported box tuned to 35htz..or if you havent bought them yet you can do 1 x-15 duall 2 ohm and it can handle that 3000 as long as its clean no clipping from the source or the amp..use a dd-1 ..and id say 1 d3100 battery would be fine for it..youll save goin that route . You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries

bbeljefe
The Hifonics Zeus series will not produce 3kW. It is rated in max power and not RMS, which is why it's only $250.00. I would recommend looking into the Brutus series if you're stuck on Hifonics or, look at another brand like CT Sounds, Soundqubed, Sundown or any number of other amps that are known to do their rated power clean. EDIT: I forgot to explain the max power v RMS bit. Max (or peak) power is a sneaky way of doubling the power claim for an amplifier. Sure, it can produce 3000 watts of power but what they don't tell you is that EVERY watt above 1600 is clipped power and thus, is blown voice coils guaranteed. So in reality, you're buying an amp that will do 1600 watts.... on very good electrical. At 14.5 volts. On a good day. t-money
OP! you do understand 1 15 can get very loud right? it could be an upgrade from 2 12's. and i have no doubt you can build a box for 2 15's in the trunk but is it going to be 4-6 cubes after displacment? thats what its gonna take. thats why i said just do one. if you cant give proper air requirments u might as well keep what you have or go a different rout. I saw you tlking about the x. that thing takes even more air space than the sa. just cuz its a 15 doesnt mean they all need the same room. 2002 ford focus hatch pioneer DEH-P8400bh infinity kappa 6.5 components front and rear XS Power D1200 Shuriken BT-100 audioque 120.4 2 15 inch audioque HDC3 D2 2 audioque 2200d big 3 mechman 220a alt with external regulator 479-418-3056
