i wana run the ct sounds 125.4 for my mids and highs as well as the 3 sixty 3. now i currently have these up front

and this in the rear

now being that that amp makes 125 at 12v its a bit over the rms for my componets and just slightly for the 6x9s. so my question is would it be better to over power speakers that way i have to have the crossover on the 3 sixty 3 set low to achieve what im looking for vs having to boost ciertin bands?

i may upgrade components thought because my 6x9s are a 90db sensitivity and the componets are like 86,87

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

I always EQ down, never EQ up. So yes you would be better off setting the gain slightly lower and lowering your adjustments instead of boosting the frequencies you are missing. In my understanding and from my limited experience it sounds better.

i plan on adding a shallow 8 in each door also 3 sixty 3 would be perfect for that. also 3 sixty 3 alows me to dial in on any bands that im missing or fix peaks and what not.
