I swear I cant have anything that works for more than a week. Got the subs reconed and it sounded awesome......for about a week. The xxx 15k got shaken to

Death on the back of the wall. It didn't smoke or anything. It just stopped working. But me and Dangaranga are goanna attempt to fix it. If we cant, its getting sent somewhere to be fixed. And when I get it back, I'm goanna figure out a different way to mount it. Anyways, that's just a short update. More shit blew up as usual.

I'm not discouraged one but though. I will get this working reliably lol.

So just a little update here. Last night me and Dangaranga started probing around in the amp and we found a couple fets that were blown. So we replaced

Them and it powered on. But, when we went to put it back together one of the clamps for the fets caused it to short to the case. The explosion from that thing

Was fucking insane lol. So it ended up blowing a couple fets again. So I'm going to order some new ones and we should be back in business haha.

So we repaired the xxx and got it back in and I must say its working very well. However, when the amp is on but no music is playing through it the subs hum a bit and I'm not sure why. Any info/suggestions on that is appreciated.

So, I beat the hell out of the system during the dream cruise and the consequence of that was the amp blowing again. The first time it blew was from it being shaken to death on the back of the wall. Not sure why it blew again but I doubt we fixed it correctly and the drivers were definitely hurt so it could be those. But, its getting taken to be fixed tomorrow morning and all the fets, drivers, and anything else that may be hurt is being replaced. I should have it back for the show labor day weekend. I am going to have to figure out how to mount it better so I don't kill it again. Anyways, I'll post pics of everything when I get the amp back.

So this is what was wrong with the amp

The outputs we put in were shorted. With the outputs divided between the two sides it powers on and plays. The driver card was rebuilt on that side and the board got cleaned up.

So far that is the progress. We are just waiting on parts and we should be good. Hopefully I will have it back by the show labor day weekend at Gibraltar. If I do, come and get a demo. I'm beating the hell out of it all day haha. Anyways. After that I will be keeping it how it is until November. Then, its getting torn out and the c pillar v2 will be built. Stay tuned for updates.
