im_quagmire
Whats up guys, my first post here due to the issue i have at hand. please forgive me if i have not posted in the correct forum or this has been repeated. i have just bought a crescendo bc3500d to push 2 hdc312's. i want to wire them @ .5 ohms. This is what i have under the hood of my 2003 chevy monte carlo ss: Mechman 320A alternator, xs power s3400 battery. Also in the trunk i will have a xs d3400. QUESTION: this is my first major set up, for me this is major at least. With the Big 3 and runs of 1/0 from amps and batts be sufficient enough to bang at .5 ohms without blowing something up? my previous system was 2 15" quantum audio subs ran by a 500.1 RF old school bd amp. the amp banged the hell out of those subs lol and i know they are crap but i was only 17 and paid my own money. now that i am done with school and have a good job i can start building my dream set up. thanks for all your input most of you are more experienced than i am.
