Help! Second battery still getting volt drop!

Recommended Posts

I'm running 2 10in american bass xr

Off an audiopipe apsm 2000

Running from main battery to second (dura last gold) battery cadence 1/0

And second battery (xs power xp950) all 1/0 sky high audio

Primary battery I have 2 grounds,

And secondary also has a ground so does the amp

But not from chassis on 2nd amp and battery

My big 3 wires are on their way, wondering if that should

Improve my voltage

Stock alt.

Any advice?

Thanks guys!

You will always see voltage drop on any electrical system if u have a high power sound system running. It's just a fight to maintain the highest voltage possible for an extended perio of time.

Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-

Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front)

Subs/Amps: TBD

Yeah I hear you, but idk I guess to me, I was thinking it was only "2000 watss" (in reality less than that)

Thinking to myself I would be ok with one battery, so because of the voltage drop decided to get a second

I'll check on that tomorrow, have gain on 3/4

Bass boost no where near max, well nothing is,..

Would be a good idea to invest in a dd1

Was thinking maybe my grounds
