Justjoshiny
No. If they're both out of phase with the front speakers, it could make a very minor difference but in reality, that minor difference could be for the better. It'd make for a sort of surround sound effect? Noise from the rear coming after the front?
bbeljefe
No. The mids and highs play different frequencies than the subs but where they overlap, it can sometimes correct delays. Surround sound is delayed and out of phase but that's using the same signal as the fronts are getting. hammiethebasshead
if all else fails that fosgate prime will be a good amp a ct sounds should be pretty good a kicker zx400.1 or dx500.1 are both good (i run a zx400 on my fosgate p2 and its pushing about 450-500 watts) or a jbl gto-501ez would be pretty good. you can get most of them in the ballpark of $120-$200 and all have a bass knob except for, I think, the jbl. once you get a speaker moving so hard that its possible to make tinsels slap, you are already kissing "SQ" goodbye. Don't get me wrong, as I smoke Marlboro Reds, but if I saw one more kid with that smug-ass look (Look at me I'm smoking indoors) on their face, I was going to shove that thing so far up someone's ass that they'd look like a hillbilly trying to understand quantitative prediction theorem. You know why people are ass holes online but not in person? Because getting punched in the mouth hurts.

Thanks for the info! If this doesn't work I'll have to look into all those amps.
RooTxBeeR
Check out the sound qubed 750.1, it does 500 at 2 ohms. Dial it back a tiny wee bit and you'll be good to go.
