For now the only thing I'm planning on doing is making more beauty pieces, sealing up the wall. New woofers are goin in when I see warm coming, I have 2 of the new woofers and need another pair. As for the amp its set at 65% gain no bass boost at all so I think I have some more to get out of the amp I just want to have more battery power to back it up. If this truck turns into a straight audio truck or if I have it long enough a new amp may be in mind. Maybe switch to something around 6-7k and keep it moderatly turned up.

Although i highly disagree with the amp gain thing, being that there is no such thing as "My amp is only this% tuned up"… Its either gain matched to the RCA out to reach optimum output exactly when your source does… or its less then that due to running active set ups that require way less power then your amp can give. That being said unless you have a 2v pre out on your head unit, your "65%" gain is about as high as it should go to avoid clipping. Just trying to save you woofers man. My gains are matched to my head unit using my dd1. With my 4v pre outs my gain is at "40%" or about 10 o'clock, but i know because the way that i set it up… that when i play a -5db note from my source that my amp is set to achieve maximum output at that overlap. And anything smaller then -4.9 db will be clean and unclipped. But i look forward to upgrades, build some sick doors for it! Those are nice woofers, no need to upgrade unless you up the power. Well since I have not gotten my hands on a dd1 yet I don't have my gain set perfectectly. I should explain better, I have a pioneer 4300ub with 4v outputs. I have the gain set very modestly on the amp, which it could stay that way. But on my headunit I have a flat eq then I have my highs amp (ab sq 945) playing my four american bass sqs. I should add in details about my mids and highs but back to the gain deal my amp is set at about 1 oclock, on my headunit I have the subwoofer at -14 daily and take it up to about -8 to get it playin loud. I don't raise it higher than that because that's when I start to experience some volt drop. What I should do is set the amp up to match the level "0" on my headunit but I haven't. Once I add in the clarion eq I will adjust everything but long story short, my amp has more to give and the subs don't want more. There is more power available, I'm not saying double or even 1.5 but there is more cleab power to be had out of the mm4000.1d. Hopefully I can get sone videos that do justice, I'm planning in taking the big amp out for the rest of winter to keep it nice n safe and not be tempted to start rippin brittle spiders
