2 or 3 battery's better?

I used the power calculator and they recommend 3x khc2400 (7200 total) but for around the same price should I go with 2x khc3800 (7600 total)?

If it matters I'm gonna be using 2x 2500 rms kicker zx amps and a 1500 kicker zx.

(typo on the topic batteries) :BART:

either will work, but i hope you have a high output alternator in the 250-300a range. because you need more than just batteries, takes power to make power. I personally would do 4 of the 2400's, or 3 of the 3800's with a +250a alternator.

So would the bigger total / less batteries be better? Might even do xs power d7500 if thats the case.. and maybe a smaller battery as a backup?

I agree with chevy boy. A HO is a definite, what vehicle? Big 3? What wire? What subs? Multiple things need to be considered. If you are getting 3-4 batts then the biggest alt you can fit is my opinion. Thats alot of power and multiple decent sized amps will draw alot of power.

with a mechman 320, you can get away with what you posted originally. See what your voltage is, then if you need more, just add an additional of a matching series.

edit: biggest one you can fit up front, and then either 3 2400's or 2 3800's and go from there.

My question may have been lost in translation.. Would it be better to use 3x 2400 or 2x3800 and then as a side note (if less is better) maybe I could just use a xs power 7500?

Would I get too much of a voltage drop if I just put one 7500 in the trunk and nothing up front?

yea, it kinda did. I think you will see similar results with either set up [referring to 3800s vs. 2400s], and less is never better when it comes to electrical. i would personally think you would have better results out the the 3 2400s though.
