davinci701 Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 Will the sundown X 18s handle a Crescendo BC5500. Two Sundown X 18's per amp i only want to run 2 amps thanks in advance
CleanSierra Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 Will a 1250 Watt sub handle a 5500 Watt amp? No. Don't even consider it. 2 Sundown X's on maybe a 3500 for the pair, maybe more if you know what you're doing. At the end of the day it's a 3" coil. 5500 Watts it's not gonna cut it Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
davinci701 Posted December 15, 2013 Author Report Posted December 15, 2013 i wish i could get a sub that has a motor like my hdc4s but with the sundown Zv4 softparts then i would be happy happy happy
davinci701 Posted December 15, 2013 Author Report Posted December 15, 2013 i wonder if fixmyspeaker guys could make it happen?
CleanSierra Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 What?!? The motor on your HDC4s is setup for a 4" coil. The Sundown Z and X and 3" coils, so that can't work. Why would you want to send that kind of power to an X or a Z? Like what do you think you're going to accomplish by sending 3 times the rated power to that sub? What's the reasoning behind your idea to want to do this? No, Fixmyspeaker can't fit a AQ/SQ motor on the Sundown coil and soft parts Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
