How low is too low for an sa 12?

I plan on 2.5ft3 tuned to 28 hz. I really want to hit the low of the lows with this thing. Is this a bad idea?

That's a bit out of my budget tbh. I already ordered the sa 12. As much as i'd love an x i can't swing it.

Honestly just go with it and see how it sounds, I have never had a box under 33hz and that was perfect for my tastes.

How much power you plan on running? I ask because 2.5cu (if after displacements/net) is way too big for a single sa12. You're not gonna have any kind of cone control if you plan to over power it.

I'm planning on 500-600 rms. Not going to overpower it at all.

Is it possible get pretty loud in the mid to upper 20s on 1 sa12 ~600w?
