WickeD
The way i have seen people do it is with a computer power supply but i don't really know how safe that can be haha.
BigPimpin91
I have had a HeadUnit and a car amp and sub hooked up in the house before. If you have a spare computer power supply laying around try to get picks and I'll tell you how to modify it to work for car stereo. You can purchase a power supply from radio shack for $100 that is 13.8v and is a 25amp rating. Now worth it. Too much, bought one before I knew better. You can get a 55amp computer power supply for $100. If you need to know how to rip apart a Power Supply I'll show you. sean 371
No not just the cable. You need a power supply that will convert from 110 volts down to 12-14. I've seen people run batteries off of that as well, and have a full car stereo in the house. BigPimpin91
No, you need the whole power supply. You could do it ghetto style like my shop owner. A car battery and a trickle charger. Quote BigPimpin91's Banging Music

Bang_Stang
yes, the part that it plugs into (in the computer) and should have all the wires and everything on the inside Quote huh? did u say something?
qu1cks1lver56
yea you can use a computer power supply you take a ground wire and touch it to the green wire in the big bundle of wires going to the 20 pin connector. you can splice the 2 together and use the switch on the back of it to turn it on and off. and then you dont use anything else off the 20 pin connector.
