fullthrottlejunkie85 Posted December 26, 2013 Report Posted December 26, 2013 Hello everyone My friend has my old system which is in a blazer and it was 2-12" sony xplods with a rf 8002 and custom ported box, well he called me asking what was wrong, he said the subs are very sloppy and has a slight rattle noise too them and don't hit hard no more and hasn't done anything with hu settings or amp. would it be best too have him take a ohm meter too them the way there wired parallel? if the subs are svc 4ohm each should be around 2ohms rite? if there half blown it would show higher and maybe jump ohms up and down on dmm? any suggestions id appreciate ----------- no more blazer------------- New ride 2000 s10 ext cab xtreme zq8 v4a 4.3 jba headers,pcm4less tuned,nv3500 5spd,8.5" diff,ported/polished heads makes good daily driver not a racecar lol system: pioneer 7200hd deck,kenwood kfc708 with jl xd400.4 stinger 2gauge wire mtx thunder 1501d custom built box myself ported 3.13 slot port 40hz (2) 10" re audio sexv2d2- may do sxx upgrade soon after tune the sex first kicker 4x6 cs dash.

Install new subs and never look back. jarrius Posted December 26, 2013 Report Posted December 26, 2013 From what i have heard the new HDS line is really nice so i would toss those explodes and get them but make sure the box is right for the Soundqubed subs.
