Stephen Maharaj Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 good day, I have setup for my bass a MMATS 3000.1 and 4 Bostonacoustics G2 10". Now the amp's crossover ranges from 77 hz to 250Hz. I also have a Audio Control Three.2 preamp. I have the MTX TE 1004.4 for my mid range. I used the SMD DD-1 and CC-1 to tune my system however I can seem to tune my bass lower than 77 Hz although the pream has down to 40 Hz and when i try tuning my mids the frequency on the mids amp crossover is not affected while tuning only when i change the frequency on the preamp. So at the moment my subs are tune to 80Hz and well the mids amp all the crossover frequency are still up but were adjusted through the preamp. Can anyone assist me with what is going on here? And another thing, if my subs are set at 80 Hz does that mean they wont play anything lower than 80hz? Thank you.
Kyblack76 Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 I dont know that amp, but a google check, shows a xover setting of 10-250 bro? Your sure your correct? (a 77-250 xover adjustment makes no sense) SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
Stephen Maharaj Posted January 2, 2014 Author Report Posted January 2, 2014 I dont know that amp, but a google check, shows a xover setting of 10-250 bro? Your sure your correct? (a 77-250 xover adjustment makes no sense) I see the response but on there are only two knobs on the amp. one for gain and the other for the crossover which starts from 77.
