duece9s Posted January 5, 2014 Report Share Posted January 5, 2014 Getting a new (used) car and im looking to step up from my last setup, which was sony 5x7's (25rms/ch) powered from my pioneer head unit. The car it will be going is in a saturn ion. I need some speakers( 6.5") , and probably some tweeters that will keep with a L7 that will be going in the trunk. Not sure if the car i will be getting next week has the sound package that has the tweeters already. Budget ~hopefully under 500 for everything Music: Rap & rock Comp or Coax: If it already has tweeters in the top of the door panel it would nice to just replace those. I'm new to the powerered speaker game so i dont know what all i need. A 2 or 4 ch amp to run your speakers and a set of components or coaxials. With your budget you should be ok. I would do the components personally more work but sound better.
