Flatsfisher8 Posted January 10, 2014 Author Report Posted January 10, 2014 My voltage is great, i havent seen below 13.9.. And that was after beatin down for awhile Of course there's alot more gain left on that 3500 so..
bbeljefe Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 If you want a loud box with excellent low end extension and superb sound quality, build a ¼ wave transmission line for the 4 tens. You'll need about 14 cubes in order to accommodate a line tuned to ~30Hz for 4 tens but it will be worth it. Here's my truck with a 30Hz line and 2 Zv3 15s: You can go from rap to seventies rock and the subs blend seamlessly with the front stage, playing everything from the lowest low note all the way to the crossover point evenly and with authority. Flatsfisher8 Posted January 10, 2014 Author Report Posted January 10, 2014 Man i love the idea, i just really dont have 14 cubes.. It'd have to be a wall and i'd have to have my seats up far to far. I'll get some measurements and check but im certain my ranger just isnt gonna like it
bbeljefe Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 A line for one ten is going to be about 3 cubes, so just add up from there. The one in my truck now is ~18 cubes, is below window line and is not a wall. Matter of fact, it would be rather difficult to design a t-line into a wall. Not that it couldn't be done of course, but I don't see it as a necessity. Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe

Flatsfisher8 Posted January 10, 2014 Author Report Posted January 10, 2014 Wow man that's crazy, you're in a full size i see though, i had the ranger walled with 4 t1s and was uncomfortable with 11 cubes
bbeljefe Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 Well then, you have enough room for one 15 or maybe even three tens.... Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe
