imistm2 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 I bought a enclosure They told me the box volume was .6 cubic feet the dimensions are 15-1/4"D x 28-1/4"W x 9-3/4"H
theboogieman77 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 How thick is the wood and is it ported or sealed?
theboogieman77 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Sealed with .75 thick MDF would be just over two cubic feet. displacements not included
alaskanzx5 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 most prefab boxes use 1/2 mdf from what ive seen, if its sealed the box is bigger then .6 cuft. they also only tell you the volume before displacement of the sub since they don't know the sub you will be putting in it. even if the shop knows the sub they don't account for sub displacement. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
