oldsoundguy Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 I read a thread lately that someone was having trouble fitting the 1/0 copper ring terminal into the fuse holder. Well I got mine today and this is what I did to make them fit perfect. The top clicks right on with no contact with the top cover. Only thing you need to do is push the ring terminal inwards before you tighten them down as that will give you a little more room. All I will do is add a couple small washers under the ring terminal for a little more contact but it wont effect the height and the cover fits with no problems. Hope this helps. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

Brian617 Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 Thanks. I see what you did different. I put the fuse and the lugs between the nuts. I wanted metal to metal contact on both sides of the lugs with the shortest path for current to flow from fuse to lug. But I don't think I mounted them as they intended.
oldsoundguy Posted January 17, 2014 Author Report Posted January 17, 2014 Thats why I will do a short stack of copper washers on the bottom for that. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
