Help setting gains

Just got a t1000-4 to replace my t600-2 (FOR SALE)

hooked up my components and 6x9'.

was listening to music and then notices i blew the tweeter on the commponets..

how do i know how many watts im giving to the speakers really big amp so much power.

so i wont blow my new ones.

ps going to uprgrade to fosgate t2652-s

Only way to get a general idea is to clamp then but ern still you need to make sure your settig are correct. A dd-1 and osciloscope will do the gain wile the cc-1 will do the crossovers.

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.
