How to increases\substantialy gain subwoofer output

How would one increase there output enough to notice the difference?

Making the leap from 12-15-18inch subs will increase db's gained and you'll notice the difference

Making a better more efficient box to sub specs would also increase db's

But what about power?

If u have x amount of power and you double it will u notice the difference?

My case in particular would be 2 15 fi bl's on 1200w rms each in a 10 cube box tuned to 33 hrz with 125sq of port area! I have done all I could for them but the power upgrade!

generally speaking you will gain 3 db each time you either double cone are or double power. now that obviously varies among many many cases. so its just a very generic term. in your case i think you would notice a power upgrade as long as you stick with quality power. you may have to adjust that box some but i doubt it

So a 3db increase by doubling power is equipment and vehicle dependent! Meaning it may or not happen, it's a gamble

yea nothing is certain! but i would make the jump! a a matter of fact iamgoing to.make the jump. going from 12s to 15s,, then adding a second amp then 2more 15s
