New battery reset all my radio settings?

Recommended Posts

So I had a bad battery for some time and finally bought a new one.

I get into the car, turn it on and plug in my faceplate (Pioneer deh-3400ub) and went to play some tunes and noticed a difference in the sound.

Turns out it changed everything, or reset it? When I first got the radio it was set to 0/defualt for everything. I'll stop trying to explain it and just list my before and after settings, what I really want to figure out is the best settings for my music (little bit of everything, but mostly rap now and some bass pounding metal)

Before new battery I had my settings all tuned to:

Loud: Low
Sub W. - Rev
Sub W. Ctrl - 125 Hz : 4
SLA - 4
Preset EQ - Custom
Tone Ctrl - Bass (2), Mid (3), Treb (5)

And settings after new battery installed:

Loud: Low
Sub W. - Nor
Sub W. Ctrl - 80 Hz : 0
SLA - 0
Preset EQ - Dynamic
Tone Ctrl - Bass (4), Mid (0), Treb (2)

Anyone have any suggestions on some better settings? I'm not experienced in audio much and just would like some idea of what to set it all to.

I have 2 10" Diamond D3 subs and a 400.1 Diamond amp with stock door speakers and 6x9s. (Pontiac G6)

Only one sub works (other one the rubber surround came loose all around the sub so I disconnected it) so it's just 1 10" in a box for 2 10's.
