I was already planning on getting the HDS2 12s but no one can give me a review on them .. I just hear theyre good subs for the price. but are they good subs in general? im looking for subs with about that much power or about 500watts rms dual voice coil. for a max pay off 100$ each.. but maybe there are some that are considered better than those hds.. thanks.

any other advice would be great thanks

already have an amp for the subs just need the subs

That's probably one of the best choices for only 100 bucks a piece

so I would be satisfied right? just want to make sure I get the right ones

also does it matter if the amp I use is a 1050watt monoblock instead of a 1200watt?

? if there 500w a piece you want at least 1000w Amp. but really any amp between 750w and 1200w will be fine. i wouldn't go any more because cheap subs usually barely do there rated power. i would buy one good sub for $200 instead of 2 ok subs for $200!! especially if you get used! you can get fi bls all day for $200 that would be my choice! even more so if your Amp is truly putting out a clean 1000w what Amp are you running?

jvc deck

stinger 1800 front

hc 2000 kinetic rear

2 runs of 1/0g

big 3/4

ct 60.4

2 ct 1400.1

ct EXO 15 d1

lots of deadner

type r comps front stage

6 kicker tweets rear stage

lots of great stuff

coming soon

ho alt

more bats

ct comps for front stage

more deadner

sweet amp rack

lots of L.E.D lights

new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)

your budget will be your determining factor. You get more cone area out of 2 10s than 1 12 so I'd stick with the 2 10s....But for a more budget minded system, the differences in the companies mentioned compared to power your providing them with are miniscule and you'll probably hear no audible difference.

Same principle applied to 2 12s right?
