hey guys im pretty new to mobile audio still and i have a question it may be a stupid question idk lol but the question is if i had for instance 2 500 watt peek subs wired together say into 2 ohms would having them together give them a 1000 watt peak power handling?

Quick answer is yes. But peak means absolutely nothing disregard any peak value. You want rms values. Or at very least peak/2.

Rms power handling or output if it were an amp etc etc.

Setup:

2010 Hyundai Elantra

Factory Unit via 4 chan NVX LOC

Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt

Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000

Big 3. 2 Runs of +, 2 Runs of -

DD M3b and 2 12" AQ HDC4s

ok so as p4 is saying.. disregard peak value.. we will make it 500 watts rms per sub if i had 2 500 rms subwoofers wired together at 2 ohms and an amp that pushed 1000 watts rms into 2 ohms they would run in there rms range?
