OBI Posted February 5, 2014 Report Share Posted February 5, 2014 Lol speaker impedance is an inductive resistance. Adding a resistor won't do anything but bring up the resistance in your wire. CLOSEST thing you can do is wire an inductor in parallel with the correct amount of windings to match the impedance of your speaker's voice coil. BUT than all your doing is dividing up the power between a copper coil and a speaker. Coil will just get hot and speaker will make less noise. Sorry to have to tell you this.
