Hammer Knock Posted February 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 right. so im wondering why it would need it just to sound as loud as the ap3k. no distortion and same vol on head unit. ap3k @4 ohm 1800 watt opti6k @4 ohm 3000 watt. just really dont see why the opti6k needs bass boost to hit like the ap3k with no bass boost? if the car doesn't stall, you have enough voltage.
