One Subwoofer Not Responding to Lows.

One rca will feed one side of the board the other feeds the other side of the board. Now had you mentioned you only had one terminal on the box this wouldn't have been brought up. Of course it would have led back to your wiring again and you would have had another foot stomping temper tantrum because you know more than everyone else. I want you to do me something now. Take an output voltage reading of your amp and then unplug an rca and let me know if you see a difference. You do know how to test that right?

This is not the issue, I had mentioned that the subwoofers were in series, why did you think I had more than 2 wires comming out of the box? I didn't put any terminals on the box because I ran 8 AWG speaker wire and the MDF is 1.5" thick, also:

now why would I want to go and teach you anything?

Now why would I want to go and tell you anything?

Now i did mention the part that they were series. I thought you were trying to run series parallel which is my mistake. Of course with an amp that is 2k and two 800 watt woofers I'm not sure why you wouldn't just wire to one ohm and be done. If you can't run a few hundred watts over rated to them that comes back to your enclosure

Well then you can't even run rated to them. That makes it a box problem a gain problem or you are listening to some really dirty music. What seems to be the common denominator here? Let me know if you need me to hold your hand to figure that one out

Wired to 4 ohms because I wanted to take it easy on my alternator, however my alt is taking a beating and giving me 14.8 volts so I'm satisfied.

Don't really matter the amplifier still draws the same current...

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.
