Quanie Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 Hello everyone, so I'm starting to do my big 3 upgrade on my 99 Nissan maxims, and I'm look for some insight. When I do the + alt to + batt, do I cut the + wire for the alt or just add on to it. Also there's a little bracket next to the alt that has a wire like a 14awg connected to it like if it's a ground. Please give me a hand on some good ground and where it should go. Thank U All

hdorre Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 My boy had a 99 with the VQ30. Good luck. It's behind the pass tire. Basically, you add one to the alts pos stud. The bracket I think ur talking about is the wiring harness. Don't touch that.
