gibblegeibel
can you guys help me. i hooked up my 4 channel amp today finally. it is ct sounds 60.4. before i had it hooked up the sub or speakers didn't make a popping noise when the vehicle shut off. but now it does. i have a hifoinics brutus brz1700.1 for my sub amp. i am thinking it could be the remote wire, can you guys let me know what is it? Ahmed Johnson
I have a feeling you did this but I'll say it anyway, make sure grounds are still intact and not loose.

gibblegeibel
well after further inspection. i noticed that the power wire was lose from the fuse. also that the noise was coming from the power wire of the ct sounds amp. i had it connected in with the starter wire. after disconnecting it the popping and whining noise went away. gibblegeibel
ok i went and put new connector on my power wire and from the battery to the amp. but i still have engine noise and the door speakers still pop when they shut off. could it be that i have a power wire or the remote wire running to close to my rca's? Aj11
yes, your power wire should be on the other side of your rc cables. to Me it doesn't seen like one thing is causing this to happen seems like a few little things. is your ground short and as thick as your power wire? to me it looks like.your whining noise is coming from your power wire connection and location. and the pop sound is coming from a ground that isn't as good as it can be. if the ground is eh then power will stay in the amp then discharge when its shut off making a thud/pop noise. i have a few questions 1. what size is your power wire and ground for the 60.4 2. where is the ground for the 60.4 (at the frame?) 3. does your sub amp have this problem Also? 4. have you just ran the ct Amp to the battery instead of the starter wire? jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
gibblegeibel
it seems to only be on the 60.4 now. so when i have more time to look at i am going to fix it.
