dangaranga
Yea, I kinda want to go for a drive to see if it helped road noise lol thanks for the help. I have a video of me knocking on the doors to try and show the difference, i am going upload and see if it's even an audible difference on camera Brandon 2000 Furd Ranger supercab 4x4 System: welding wire throughout the truck USalts 390amp Hairpin Juicebox in stock location 8 Banks of maxwell supercaps 2 American Bass Vfl 1100.1 wired to .35 each 2 Fi Audio Sp4 18's ( the DD sc 9918's smoked) Pioneer radio with Soundstream PA mids Powered by a nice sized soundstream 2 channel It's pronounced (dain-ja rain-ja) 2001 2 door focus 1 DD9918 SC
bcbrassard
Road noise will have reduced some and we'll be able to hear the difference on the video. Your welcome for the help, deadening is so inexpensive for the big results ones see's that i always try to promote it. Hell 1/10 of ranger budget was one deadening and i know it was worth every penny.

bcbrassard
Yep...much better. How many layers of foam?
dangaranga
Entire door got 2 layers and the doors have a horizontal cross brace, so above and below got 3 layers. I couldnt get 3 layers over the brace without interfering with the window. I want to get a video of the new speakers but i cant find a decent area back home, I might have to wait until i go back to school since there are big empty lots perfect for blasting the radio without disturbing anybody Brandon 2000 Furd Ranger supercab 4x4 System: welding wire throughout the truck USalts 390amp Hairpin Juicebox in stock location 8 Banks of maxwell supercaps 2 American Bass Vfl 1100.1 wired to .35 each 2 Fi Audio Sp4 18's ( the DD sc 9918's smoked) Pioneer radio with Soundstream PA mids Powered by a nice sized soundstream 2 channel It's pronounced (dain-ja rain-ja) 2001 2 door focus 1 DD9918 SC
bcbrassard
Cool, I was just asking because sound deadener kind of adds structure to the doors where the faom is for acoustics and noise reduction. Using both gains great results with one layer of each. Something to keep in mind if you ever do it again. But what you did is by far better than doing nothing and you should have good results. dangaranga
My end goal is to have actual deadener and foam on the roof/ back wall/ and the 2 back half doors and deadener on the inner door skin up front. I just have to keep plugging at it bit by bit and do what i can when i can.
