would it be a bad idea to plasti dip a sub? trying to make a sub with some scratches look better for a friend and the other day i got the idea of plasti dipping it from a post. Does anyone have any input on the harm or benefit i could get from doing this. i was considering doing this to my own subs as well.

As long as it doesnt react with foam like spray paint does I don't see why not

ok what if i bondo a dent in an aluminum sub face then plastidip. think that the weight would throw off the balance of the sub?

agreed, probably not a good idea. I would tape off the surround too, if anything it might start peeling off pretty quick.

No I plan on keeping the one with the dent, but the one with scratches is a friend of mine"s and i suggested plasti dipping it and just wanted to see what the experienced members of SMD's forum would think about this idea
