hdorre Posted March 4, 2014 Report Share Posted March 4, 2014 The first company Id hit up is Singer Alternators. I use them (have a 230A), and fucking love it. After that, DC Power.. Then, Mechman. Thats just my preference, in that order. Just giving you a heads up.. You probably don't want too big of an alt on that engine. It'll bog down like a mofo. mjdonahue23 Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 8, 2014 I have been talking to mike but the only one I can get for my car that's the stock fiting is small. It can only do 150amp and that's not enough for what I need it for. So I might have to figure out how to make a bracket that will support a diffrent houseing for a bigger alternator. That's why I was wondering if I can put a bigger altimator on a smaller engine. Because I have a 1.6L 4a-fe Toyota engine. In the autos that I've driven at least.
