The first company Id hit up is Singer Alternators. I use them (have a 230A), and fucking love it. After that, DC Power.. Then, Mechman. Thats just my preference, in that order.

Just giving you a heads up.. You probably don't want too big of an alt on that engine. It'll bog down like a mofo.

get ahold of mike singer at singer alts and ask about a HO he should be able to tell you what you need to know. if not call someone at mechman

once you get a speaker moving so hard that its possible to make tinsels slap, you are already kissing "SQ" goodbye. :D

Don't get me wrong, as I smoke Marlboro Reds, but if I saw one more kid with that smug-ass look (Look at me I'm smoking indoors) on their face, I was going to shove that thing so far up someone's ass that they'd look like a hillbilly trying to understand quantitative prediction theorem.

You know why people are ass holes online but not in person? Because getting punched in the mouth hurts.

I have been talking to mike but the only one I can get for my car that's the stock fiting is small. It can only do 150amp and that's not enough for what I need it for. So I might have to figure out how to make a bracket that will support a diffrent houseing for a bigger alternator. That's why I was wondering if I can put a bigger altimator on a smaller engine. Because I have a 1.6L 4a-fe Toyota engine. And thanks for the help guys .

Like I said, "You probably don't want too big of an alt on that engine. It'll bog down like a mofo."

engine is only going to be loaded down when the bass is full tilt

Exactly, but he wont always be revving anywhere around 1800rpms.. especially if he's driving auto.. In the autos that I've driven at least.
