JEFFYBOI
WELL I RAN INTO A PROBLEM. THE HC2000 WAS WAY BIGGER THEN I THOUGHT AND I AM UNABLE TO FIT IT UNDER THE HOOD. SO I CURRENTLY HAVE IT IN THE TRUNK IN THE WHEEL WELL WITH THE 2 HC600S AND IM GOING TO FIND THE BIGGEST ONE I CAN FIT UNDER THE HOOD AS SOON AS I GET A CHANCE. IM AFRAID MY ALTERNATOR CANT KEEP UP WITH ALL MY BATTERIES NOW SO IM GOING TO BE ON A MISSION TO FIND A HO ALTERNATOR. thefourth
Lots of Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do thatI can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream. oh lawd. JEFFYBOI
THINGS ARE MOVING PRETTY SLOW. CUT OUT MY HOLES AND DID A LITTLE SANDING. I NEED TO STRENGHTEN UP THE BACK OF THE PANEL AND DO ANOTHER ROUND OF BODY FILLER AND SAND AGAIN. THEN A LITTLE WORK WITH THE DREMEL AND SHOULD BE READY TO THROW PRIMER AND PAINT DOWN "Toyota Camry rebuild page 21 (link)http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183768-94-crossfire-camry-18s-walled-singer-alt-has-arrived-rebuild-starts-pg-10/page-21 PIONEER DEH-P8400BH 2 CROSSFIRE C5 1700D 2 CROSSFIRE C7 18 HOOD. JEFFYBOI
ANOTHER LAYER OR BODY FILLER IS DOWN. SOME REAL FINE SANDING TO COME. ONCE I STRENGHTEN UP THE BACK OF THE PANELS THESE THINGS ARE GONNA BE REAL STRONG AND SOLID. I SHOULD NEED VERY LITTLE SOUND DEADENER ON THE PANEL ITSELF AND JUST SEAL OFF AND DEADEN THE DOOR AND SHOULD HAVE GREAT RESULTS! JEFFYBOI
those rear panels should turn out well. should sound well too. what are you using to push those speakers that are in the rear? Right now I just got a pioneer 2 ch amp that I have had laying around for sometime, I will upload a pic soon. It Should have no problem putting out 200 Watts to push them. I don't know if you seen I moved all my batteries down into my wheel well. So I plan on finding 2 compact amps to throw below the amp rack where the batteries were to push my components and those 8s. These mid bass 8s only require about.33 cu ft sealed so this is the reason why im sealing the actual door panel itself. JEFFYBOI
SO I SANDED IT DOWN AND GOT SOME SANDABLE AUTOMOTIVE PRIMER ON THERE TO REALLY POINT OUT THE SPOTS I NEED TO FOCUS ON GETTING SMOOTHED OUT. ALOT OF FINE SANDING IS NEEDED AS YOU CAN SEE IM GONNA PULL OUT THE OLD SAND BLOCK AND DO THIS ONE BY HAND I THINK. ANOUGH FUMES FOR ONE DAY THOUGH BUT ALOT OF SANDING TO GO STILL.
