My new build log ..ive gotten some stuff done since before I was a member here.. there may be some things in this car that alot of you wouldnt recommend. But stay with me im cleaning it up ..ill be trying to take pictures every

single step

These are the amps im running. Memphis mc4.75 and mc1.1500. I know these amps are overpriced but I was friends with an aufio shop owner who closed up shop and he gave me these at dealer cost.

I have this year impala. what brand and model 18" are you going to use?

Build's consist of:

2004 Chevy Impala :

Pioneer--------------------- DEH-X8600bs Soundqubed/AQ------ Q4-120

Rockford Fosgate---- Punch-500.4

Soundqubed/AQ----- Q1-3500D.1 Alpine----------------- 6.5's & 6x9's

Subs: TBA All Knukonceptz and SHCA wire and rca's

Home Music Setup

(4) Soundqubed HDS200 15's in two separate 15.5 cubic foot enclosures tuned to 31 hrz --- XM radio hardwire

Updates coming all the time on both builds

This is the exterior of the car..right before I changed the headlights. No too bad but it is an 11yr old paintjob so im going to get it painted soon ..back window tints are comming off and im getting new tint march 22nd

The box and sub I currently have in the car.. I built this one to rockford recommended specs for high output slot vent ..I also built a smaller rockford recommended aero port enclosure. Its a t2d215 just blew recently..gains were set with dd1.gnd continuity checked with a ddm idk what went wrong..the amp is still fine.

To answer your question I want to go with a sundown x-18 I think I can manage the box if I make the baffle angled and put the box together inside the trunk. The reason I picked 18 is because I figured out an 18 has more cone area than two 12s. And because I dont want to use more power. I plan to have the sub firing forward and trunk sealed off.

do you have 19 inches of height in the trunk? cause I don't
