Hid conversions and dome lights

I dont know about hid conversion kits really at all i was wondering if they are hard to install or if ill need help also are there different brands i need to look at and brightness i wont the to be white i think and if its hard to change dome lights i wont green to match the dash light i have a 2001 dodge by the way

Please do not install HID headlights in your stock reflector housing!! If you are looking for better output please do a proper retrofit. As for led dome lights check out superbright leds.com. They will show you several options that will work.

I do h.i.ds on cars on a regular basis.. theyre not rocket science. As long as you have a car that has a headlight housing with a removable bulb its no problem. But if its a one piece bulb and light housing then you have to get new light housings to house the hids. With a 2001 car ut should be removeable..you can call your nearest autoparts store and ask for the part # for your lowbeam headlight. You then can look for hid kits with that part number example: search 9006 hid kit. Theres only 3 wires and theres no way to mistake them..no cutting needed just plug and play. One wire plugs into your stock headlight wire and goes to the ballast the other two wires come from the bulb and go to the ballast they are male and female connections so theres no mistaking them. Heres a good tip if you do this and the lights dont turn on unplug the wire at the ballast that comes from the stock headlight wire and turn it 180° and plug it back in some cars have the leads reversed. Also to pick your color search kelvin scale .you will see the different hid colors and what theyre called ex. 8k 10k ect. Ect.. the bulbs just fit into your housing same as the stock ones .. and led dome lights are easy to..just pop the lense on pull out the bulb and the new one fits in place..but they do have a positive side and neg side..if it doesnt turn on flip it around..easy..none of these lights arr rediculously expensive..if your hids are more than 45 dollars dont buy em..and if the leds are more than a couple dollars each..dont buy them
