CHEVY DIY Posted April 14, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2014 got a new thermostat it was a hard journey to get it... painted this matt black, it was faded and scratched and a lil rusty The grill was half silver half the car color thanks to the paint job... it look way better now , and im happy with it :S took 2 hours to do this.. I know you said you already did it but Definitely try to flush the system out the best you can so you don't run into overheating or temperature issues with the engine. CHEVY DIY Posted April 14, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2014 Yea I did flush the system a month ago and the car has no water since that, I did remove the bottom hose so all the water go out, and the thermostat fitting area and the hosing place got all sanded and ready to paint to keep the rust off, I will be uploading more pics soon that's a black matt no.201 I really like matt color just feels right to me ... I will get more of the same spray brand colors it's a really good selection.
