Nealon14 Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 does anyone here have any experience going from 1 12inch 750 watts subwoofer to 2 12 inch subwoofers with about an extra 250 watts.so (going from 1 12inch 750watts----------2 12's on 1000wats ) i am hoping it will move alot more air because i really like air movement it just such a great sensation. i am also hoping it will play lower too. tell your experience. But I definitely wouldn't expect a noticeable difference in air movement. Frequency range depends greatly on the enclosure. Frequency range depends greatly on the enclosure. is there anything i could do to a box design that could help me move more air? whats the difference between 12sqin of port per cuft and 20sqin of port per cubic foot. i read somewhere there is a rule when you use a slot port to have somewhere between 12-19sqin per cuft. so if i have more port per area per foot will i move more air? for example a box that is 4.10cuft with 12sqin of port per foot tuned to 33hz vs a box with the same specs except for 16sqin of port per foot.
